The First Battle: Who is the strongest?

Nightingale approached the center of ring and waited as the crowd roared, and the very important people who were close to the two competitors woke up. Once they woke up as well as Aleyna and Signy, she turned on a mic that sent a screeching sound throughout the arena. "Welcome, Welcome," Nightingale spoke, her voice soft and smooth and creepily welcoming, "Welcome to the first battle of Rise of Legends season two, War of Worlds!" She yelled out before laughing at the crowds reactions. There were boos and there were cheers. "I am pleased to let you all know that this season will be bigger and there will be more blood than there was last year. Though, I will warn you that this is only one of two practice fights that will be taking place today and tomorrow!" Nightingale yelled as she turned around, her long pink hair following after her. "But enough chitchat of things that aren't for this battle, let's get down to business!" She yelled as the arena suddenly turned dark and two lights focused on the two fighters and Nightingale went towards Signy.

"Our first fighter, Signy!" Nightingale yelled loudly as she stretched her arm out towards the girl. "The daughter of Hel and Narfi!" She said, hearing a woman suddenly yell out in fear. Clearly disliking that her daughter was going to be fighting to the death. This made Nightingale laughed, it was a good thing the parents knew what was going on. Now she would hear them cry to their children, telling them that they could beat the other, before crying out when their child loses. Nightingale let the cheering go on before she walked to Aleyna and stretched her arm towards her. "And for our second fighter, Aleyna! Daughter of X-23 and Hellion!" She yelled before looking at bother of her fighters, knowing Signy was most likely stronger than Aleyna due to her powers. "These two will fight until the one of them can no longer stand! Sadly, this will not be a fight to the death. These are practice rounds, whoever loses this fight and tomorrow's fight will be put into a long coma until I awake them from it!" Nightingale spoke, before putting her head down as she heard the crowd booing. "These will be the only two fights that the loser will not die! I promise you this, I will give you all blood!" She yelled, riling the crowd up once more.

"Now, one more thing! These girls are allowed to use weapons, weapons they can find in long ranged spots of this arena. Sadly though, there will be no theme today, that stays for tomorrow. Unless, you know, these two need encouragement! But let's hope these two aren't stupid enough to be weak! Now, shall we begin!?" Nightingale asked, laughing immediately as she heard the crowd cheer. "Then let the games, begin!" She yelled as the collars were ripped off the girls, before she disappeared into a viewing room over the arena.

Signy woke up feeling confused and looked around her slowly as she started to register the sounds of people cheering. She stood up and listened to the woman who was using the mic...she was the same woman who had tortured those two girls earlier. Glancing across from her she saw another girl start to wake up and frowned even more so as she listened to the woman speak. It wasn't a fight to the death which was a good thing....but whoever lost would be put in a coma. Signy knew even for her age she was a good fighter, seeing the other girl made her start to put things in perspective a little bit. She didn't know her, so chances were this other person could put up a good fight...and yet Signy didn't want that girl to lose. Listening to the woman, she gathered that they couldn't lose on purpose or make it an easy fight...so she wouldn't be able to help her. As her eyes scanned the crowd she saw her mother...and was that her dad? Next to them was her family and Robin...which really only made her more angry at the person who had done this. She met her mother's eyes and nodded slowly she was ready for this...her collar was ripped off and then she was alone in the middle of the arena with Aleyna. She readied a necromancy bolt and flung it at the girl, it would stun the girl's soul and make her immobile for a few moments if it actually connected.

The moment Aleyna had woken up, she immediately heard a crowd roaring with cheers and boos, causing her to sit up and look around before standing onto her feet. Her eyes scanning the whole scene, before looking at the woman who had tortured the two girls. The more she talked, the more she was getting the feeling that this was going to be a battle. The more the woman spoke, the more her thoughts were right. When the woman told everyone Signy's name, she looked immediately at her rival for this fight. When she looked at her, she instantly felt herself freeze a little. The girl looked younger than her which was making her a bit uneasy to fight her. Though, at the same time she had to keep her head on, for all she knew was that the girl looked young but wasn't. She continued staring at the girl, before looking immediately up when she heard someone cry out in fear. Her eyes laid on a woman that looked like the girl, so it was probably her mother. This caused her to freeze once more and look at the pink haired woman in horror. If the girl's mother was here, than so was Aleyna's.

So the moment the woman called out her name, she immediately heard her mother's voice cry out in fear and rage, making her immediately look at her mother. Her eyes widened as she could feel the tears fill up in her eyes. She immediately mouthed that she was going to be okay to her mother, before looking away before it broke her heart even more. She hated that her mother was going to be watching, and the more she heard her mother's voice, the more she heard her cousins. Aleyna closed her eyes and tried to block them out, letting only a few tears fall before she suddenly breathed and opened her eyes. Letting a poker face befall on her face. Aleyna was now staring at the girl and thinking, she was thinking of a strategy and making sure that her senses were sharp. She was going to study the girl, and hopefully find the weak spots in her fighting. If she was able to do that, she would win. Though, even with these thoughts of winning, Aleyna couldn't help but hate that she was going to have to fight the girl, but she couldn't do anything about it. She was going to win or lose, either way, she would fight her hardest.

So when the woman yelled for the battle to start and her collar was ripped off, Aleyna was able to see Signy move quick enough to create a purple force field around her, shielding herself from the bolt. It was at that moment when the girl was caught a bit surprised, she quickly turned her shield into a force that she suddenly pushed towards the girl. Sending the girl back into the wall, but it wasn't hard to create any breakage or anything, it was enough to make Signy daze. It was at this point her poker face suddenly became a full fledged one, and she was still as stone. Her moves would be unpredictable now, and she was going to use her training to make sure she either wink or goes down with a good fight. Either way she was going to be a winner in her books.

Signy landed with a grunt and got up, ok so the girl was good...but then so was she, her eyes studied how the girl moved. She was a fighter...and she had a good poker face, testing the waters still further Signy lifted her hand in a vicious move and caused the area around the girl to start up on fire. The fire wasn't exactly strong but it would startle the girl and buy her some time, raising one hand she started to summon the dead, which was her strong point. Five undead soldiers appeared around her waving different weapons, each one could attack and not die unless Signy herself was injured.

When fire suddenly appeared around Aleyna, she backed up but still kept a poker face. To the girl, it looked like she had just backed away like it was nothing. When really it had startled her, but she had her mother's genes, and she was great at hiding her fear. Aleyna looked immediately back at the girl who was raising her hand. She had no idea what she was doing until she started to see people rising from the ground. When they were above ground she was able to see how they looked and what she saw made the inside of her cringe, skeletons, ew, but yet she would not show her disgust or fear. She studied the skeletons easily and slowly started to turn, waiting for one of them to attack her. She waited, and when one of the soldiers finally ran after her she quickly rolled out of the way. Once she was far away, but not too close to the fire behind her, Aleyna quickly used her powers. Suddenly two of the skeleton's legs were jointed together by a purple aura, and with a quick motion of Aleyna's hands the hit each other. She then uncrossed her arms and stood up and moved her hands in a circular motion above her, sending the skeletons flying into the others before turning around and throwing the two at Signy. Which the girl was able to dodge.

It was at this moment Aleyna quickly looked for a weapon and saw two long daggers she would be able to manipulate and use as long ranged weapons. This was the moment she realized she would have to use her speeding ability to get it. Especially when soldiers were on her way to her. Though, she hadn't mastered the skill and felt a bit scared of using it. Aleyna looked up at her father and quickly saw that he knew what she was thinking. She watched as he told her no with his mouth and his eyes, but all she did was shake her head no before looking straight at the daggers. The moment she did though, her whole body burned with a purple aura, and at the last possible second, where the guards were ready to attack her. Aleyna closed her eyes and pushed all of her energy into this one move. Suddenly she disappeared and was next to the daggers in a blink of an eye. The whole ordeal caused her a bit of dizziness but she ignored it.

Aleyna gripped the daggers and quickly used her power to bind with them, and as a soldier ran towards she used her power to throw the dagger into his stomach. She then quickly flicked her wrist and sent him flying. Combining both her manipulating and force blasting skills. She then looked at the girl. Aleyna was honestly impressed, but she was kind of wishing the girl would fight by herself and not stand there letting her slaves do the work for her. It was time she would ignore the skeletons and go towards the girl. In her head she suddenly ask to be forgiven for what she was about to do. With a quick moved of her hands and body, Aleyna sent the daggers flying at the girl. Cutting the girl's cheek and her right arm. Aleyna then quickly forced the daggers to come back to her as she stood there fiercely. Showing where she was standing and who she wanted to the fight more.

The girl did know how to fight and that made her feel slightly better, she raised one hand to touch her cheek. She nodded in some respect to the woman before she sent one of the soldiers to attack her while she went and got a sword. She had had training from her grandmother in the way of the sword and with it she would have some protection. Although Signy wasn't afraid to die, she respected death as in some ways it was merely living another life. Twirling the sword expertly in her hand she moved forward and watched as the girl took care of the soldier long enough for Signy to salute her with the sword and then engage. The girl had two daggers and she knew how to use them just as well as Signy knew how to use her sword.
